Great video! Canadians live in normal houses. Although no one actually lives in an igloo anymore, DEPENDING ON WHERE PEOPLE LIVE, many know how to construct them in case of emergencies. Canada is a big place, and the temperatures reflect that. Last winter we had some -45 C (-49 F) days where I was living, but rest assured - I was warm in my HOUSE sitting by a wood fire!
… sipping on hot chocolate.
Great Canadian treat - dip a popsicle stick in real maple syrup, then roll it in snow!

Finally I can make the igloo I have always wanted!!
Just kidding, but wow this was a great video to watch. I couldn’t imagine having to live in that weather constantly, but at least if I did I would know what to do..

Hmm … someone should splice this footage with Boards of Canada.

Canada isn’t actually like this. This was a long time ago in the very northern tip of Canada. It is like us saying Americans still live in teepees. The people in the video are known to us as the Inuit people. Even they don’t live in igloos any more. They now live in normal houses like the rest of us and build igloos only for cultural purposes. Canada only snows in the winter months. We have summer too. It can get up to 95 degrees (35 celcius) during the summer where I live. Google Canada.

No moron, different races have different average IQs.
January 17th, 2009 at 6:13 pm
It will be the same as the rest of the HUMANS on the planet. I’m gonna go on a limb here and say their I.Q. is probably higher than yours, ******.
January 21st, 2009 at 1:52 am
That only looked easy because they’d built many igloos before.

Totally, these guys are the real deal. Now I won’t freeze to death when we run out of fossil fuels!
